First snow of the season! What a way to wake up. The Manager
of the Chalet was also excited for us and has invited us back for the winter.
We may just take her up on the offer!
The morning was spent at a reconstructed wooden village. The
snow making it even more magical.
The afternoon we explored the town of Irkutsk – Damian (our
local tour Guide) took us through the local history museum – especially opened
for us (it is not what you know but who you know.
Our day finished off on the train – the start of our longest
train trip – 2 nights and 2 days. The restaurant car may just be our favourite
place for these next couple of days – as well as the brief train stops in
random places in Siberia – some in the middle of the night.
