We spent the morning on a guided tour of Suzdal with Irene visiting traditional wooden houses and another wooden architecture museum. On the train to Vladimir another passenger showed us the Cathedral of Incession and so we planned an extra trip into our itinerary to the very popular Cathedral in the middle of a field.
To while away the time before our evening train we visited a lovely restaurant - one of the items on the list was to fill a plate ... we enjoyed the challenge and was almost enough to fill five tummies.
